Located on the Côte des Légendes in Goulven in northern Finistère, Kouign Amann Berrou has specialized in the production of Kouign Amann for almost half a century.

Years go by but the iconic Kouign Amann recipe remains unchanged. This pure butter and preservative-free recipe has proven itself to all generations. The craftsmanship is also unchanged. Indeed, sugaring and rolling are still done by hand.

The Ty Crousti, an innovative product rooted in the territory that seduced the jury of Product in Brittany! 

This  caramelized and crispy biscuit, won in January 2022 the prize for the best  new Product in Brittany!_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d

  Its all-butter puff pastry, light and airy, affirms the Breton identity of this gourmet recipe. 

Inescapable companions of the greediest, they nibble at any time of the day!

Kouign Amann Berrou, une histoire de longue date ! 

  1975 : Creation of the company in Plounevez - Lochrist in Finistère. Specialized in the production of Kouign Amann. 

  1990  : On the strength of its know-how, the company wishes to expand its range of products. She then began producing Breton cakes. 

  1994  : Year of changes, the company moved to Goulven.

In the same year, she joined the association "Produit en Bretagne". Real guarantee of quality! 

  2021  : The store is completely renovated to showcase the various regional products.

  2022  : The year of changes! The famous Ty Crousti is elected Best novelty 2022 by Product in Brittany. 

Launch of our website & online store! 

Today Kouign Amann Berrou is committed to producing tasty and quality Breton specialties. This applies in particular to the choice of quality raw materials. Thus, butter, sugar, eggs and flour are of French origin!
